Immigration Enforcement is responsible for enforcing the government’s immigration laws, tackling illegal migration, removing foreign national offenders and immigration offenders from the UK. It also aims to disrupt the organised criminal groups that exploit the vulnerable for their personal gain.

Caseworker Support:
To be eligible for the role you must fulfil the following criteria.
- Be eligible to work in the UK. This is a non-reserved post and is open to UK, Commonwealth and European Economic Area (EEA) and certain non- EEA nationals (see further information).
- Be able to provide ALL of the documents we need to complete your pre-employment screening and security clearance.
Candidates will be subject to UK immigration requirements as well as Civil Service nationality rules. Please be aware that foreign or dual nationality is not an automatic bar. However certain posts may have restrictions which could affect those who do not have sole British nationality or who have personal connections with certain countries outside the UK.
Immigration Caseworkers:
To be eligible for the role you must fulfil the following criteria.
- Be eligible to work in the UK. This is a non-reserved post and is open to UK, Commonwealth and European Economic Area (EEA) and certain non- EEA nationals (see further information).

Immigration Officer:
- You must be a UK national - evidence of which will be required either by way of a UK passport or providing alternative evidence of UK nationality in line with the Civil Service Nationality Rules. UK nationals who hold dual nationality can apply for this reserved post.

Security Clearance
Caseworker Support:
This post requires you to undergo and successfully complete a CTC (Counter Terrorist Check) level of security clearance and you should normally have been resident in the UK for three years continuously immediately preceding your application. If you have lived or worked outside of the UK for more than 6 months you may not meet the residency test. Those who are married to persons with immigration restrictions may be refused security clearance.
